Entertainment at 2 Year Old's Birthday

My son will turn 2 in February. We live in Sacramento, Ca. and the weather may still be too cold and rainy to have an outdoor party. I would like to know if anybody has any ideas. Cleaning Dusty Mini Blinds

Cleaning Bead Board Swans Stone in Bathroom

I just recently had my bathroom remodeled. My husband did this since this is what he does for a living. He put 'Swans stone' all around the bathtub/shower area. It was VERY expensive. Does anyone know how to clean this? I have Swan stone made with the 'bead board' look inside and soap scum gets in the crevices and it looks terrible. It does not come clean. Any ideas?

Finding The Right Computerized Sewing Machine

I just bought the Brother BC-1000 for myself for Christmas. I though I'd try it out since it was a good price at Target (Only $149) and they said I could bring it back any time within 90 days after Christmas. I've taken it out of the box and given it a "test drive" and read the manual. It's a truly WONDERFUL machine for the money! It has great reviews on Amazon.

Savannah Bag

I've made a lot of bags but my favorite is the Savannah bag. I named it after my daughter because it's pretty in pink. I cut out a template 22 inches long by 13 inches wide. Put template on top of main fabric and cut; 2 for fabric, 2 for lining.

Skid Row Casserole

Start cooking noodles, first dropping a bouillon cube into the noodle water. Brown the garlic, onion and crumbled beef in the oil. Add the flour, salt, paprika and mushrooms; stir and let it cook 5 minutes.

German Chocolate Cake Cookies

Mix ingredients all together and roll into small balls in the palm of your hands. Put cookie on cookie sheet and press down centers with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 8 to 10 minutes.
